Well, I think it's about time I figure out what I'm gonna do with this place, no? Seriously... I need to stop forgetting that I exist over here... But I guess I kinda have an excuse. XD A lot's been happening lately, a lot of it pretty big.

For a quick recap ('cause I'm lazy, go me!) I got a job down in Northern Kentucky and hauled my ass down there to live. I'm gonna be here until December (which doesn't really seem that far off...) and it's been going pretty well. Hell, I got my own place, I'm in a new area (never did I think I would go to a mall for common shopping... wtf), got captured by a ninja and I even made a couple friends and moved closer to one already existing friend. ^^ So I'd call it a good deal. Not gonna be in school until January either, so that's a nice little break. ^^ Though I could deal without the working outside in the 90 degree weather... whatever. *shrug* Can't have everything.

So yes. Slightly new life and whatnot and I think I kinda like it. ^^ Granted a couple things could be working out a bit better for me, but eh, I'm not gonna complain too much about what I can't help. *shrug* Anyway, I've actually been putting the pencil to the paper now that I have time (oh, god, what's that? O_o) so I should have stuff to post and whatnot. Yays. *runs off to do just that*

So I guess I should put something new up here. Probably gonna be using DA again for a while since I've picked up doodling with cg stuff. Plus the fact that my last journal was for AB and here it is almost the new year. XD Go go procrastination power!

So yeah. Nothing much going on around here. Just... winter break. Finally made it to my senior year in college, but lo and behold, have to go part of next school year too. But it's only Fall so long as I snag an internship during summer. Don't think that's gonna be much of a problem though. There are a lot of places I need to check into around home and even if I can't find anything there, I have a backup plan of finding somewhere near ~Omni-Strife's place. Be interesting to spend summer over there. But yeah. Still gonna spend the whole year up in Athens even after I've graduated. Gonna find a job somewhere, maybe in a greenhouse. There are a bunch around there. *shrug*

Anyway, stuck at the relatives right now. Just got through with visiting my brother's family and that was... just crazy. >.< But we're at my sister's now and, thankfully, her kids are far more tame than my brother's. I just have to deal with Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers... EVERYWHERE! Seriously. *shakes head* Ah well. We'll be home Monday, so that'll be nice. I need a vacation from vacation, I swear.

So yeah. That's what's going on with me. Not all that great. The next quarter should be fun. I've got a couple good classes that I'll be sharing with Omni and the other roommate. So looking forward to that and getting back to the apartment. And... that's about it. I might actually be on and off here, but yeah. That's pretty much it.

Yeah, yeah, I should be officially claimed as dead on here. I don't think I've posted anything for like... a year now. XD And excuses, excuses, but I don't have my computer right now. Poor Adrian's at the doctor's 'cause his power port it borked. I should be getting a call back from CNS soon though... It has been a week...

ANYWAY. That's my excuse of why I have done zip lately. Granted, that only covers a week there, but I've been creatively dead for a long time now. ;_; The only thing creative I managed to really do in that time was make a couple costumes for :useromni-strife: and me for AnimeBoston (where I spent Spring Break ). And, as promised way back on my Ohayocon report, here's picture evidence I'm not dead. XD

Okay... AB was kinda a let down this year. It was during Easter weekend, so everyone and their annoying first-grade cousins were out of school and at AB. The registration line? 10 hours. Not joking. (Yes, we're dedicated freaks) We missed the entirety of Friday to stand in a line, have Omni loose her gloves, have my pants rip (like.... badly) and to have the "volunteers" yell at us not to sit down because, you know, we hadn't been standing there for hours. But, we eventually made it to the third and final line of hope (or doom, whatever) and got our badges. And because I kept getting the little middle-schoolers yelling "OMG! It's Leon!" I got "Squall--Not Leon" on my name badge. XD 'Cause there's a difference between KH!Leon and FFVIII!Squall. Omni got Seifer Almasy because everyone was recognizing the ghetto!Seifer from KH (who was directly across from us in the line at one point) and not FFVIII!Seifer. Also, the Aeris we picked up in the line got "Hi, I'm Aeris and I'm dead!" on her tag. XD

The rest of the days were pretty cool (including the train rides again in full cosplay). Not a whole lot happened, but it was still fun. And now... pictures!

I really have nothing since all I do is traditional and scanner access is limited and I really hate posting my sketches since they're all... sketchy. With lines and stuff. But maybe after I figure out this tablet business, I'll put up a little more. Who knows. XD

Yep. Just as it says, I am still alive. Sorry for not having been on here in... well, forever. But I kinda just drifted away from DA a little, especially since DA doesn't quite approve of the things I like to dabble in right now. I will occasionally do something on here if it's allowed though, that's for sure. But... it's become more of a check-up place for the time being. lol Or something. Probably not having anything to say has something to do with it as well.

But I guess I just got kinda... nostalgic for DA tonight? Maybe. lol I dunno. Anyway... not much going on as usual with the exception that I'm recovering from last weekend. Thirteen hours in a car with four other people is crazy. BUT. It all ended in AnimeBoston, so that was win. ^___^ And not only did I get to go, but I got to go with my future roommate ~Omni-Strife which was amazing. We had fun like yo wouldn't believe. XD I'll go with that. But yeah. Was amazing. Never been to a city larger than Columbus and lemme tell ya, Boston is friggin' huge. XD Not to mention that they have trains! I know I shouldn't be happy about something as silly as that, but it was my first time on a train as well and it proved to be just plain fun. Especially since we were in costume every time surrounded by plain-clothes people. So yeah. The total 26 hour drive was definitely worth it. ^____^
